The MUST's Master's degree program intends to prepare students with skills and research methodology, which are required for individuals working in science, technology, socio-humanity program, research and industrial environment.
Master's degree program is two years in length and depending each major program the course can be full-time and remote.
The domestic citizen, who wants to study for master's degree must visit in person at graduate program admission team of Power Engineering School with the following documents:
The foreign citizen, who wants to study for master's degree must visit in person at graduate program admission team of Power Engineering School with the following documents:
1. The admission is open in every fall semester. The applicant is required to take computer, foreign language and other major exams. The exams can be tests or interview.
2. In case the applicant's bachelor degree diploma has 2.5 GPA or higher the applicant will be interviewed only. The professional interview will be held by professors and researchers of the department.
3. If the applicant passes the interview successfully the applicant will be an official candidate for master's degree.

The foreign citizen, who officially applied for master's degree under Mongolian law is admitted in accordance with the procedure of foreign citizen's study in Mongolia by the state administration center in charge of education.
If the applicant is studying by intergovernmental contract the applicant shall be complied with the terms of the agreement.
